MINUTES OF MEETING

The December meeting of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Retirees Association, Inc., was held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 at Roman Hall. After establishing a quorum was present, the meeting was called to order at 12:10 pm by President Chet Andres, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The following were in attendance:

The following were unable to attend: Joe Bodnar, Dot Andres, Don Hutchinson and Phil Vecere.

The Minutes of November’s meeting were received and approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

The report was received and accepted pending audit.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT:

No new members to report.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Nominating Committee - No Report

By- Laws - No Change

Website - Bruce reported that there were 55 hits made last month for a total of 5,696 hits from day one.

Memorial - Dee Murphy reported that the three Silent Auctions on December 8^th, 9^th and 10^th will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room. There will be 150 items to be auctioned off.

SOCIALS:

Luncheons - Chet reported that 116 people made reservations to attend the Christmas Luncheon. Chet to inquire at the Luncheon whether everyone is satisfied with having our Annual Christmas Luncheon at Mercer Oaks.

Trips - Jim has nothing planned at the present time.

OLD BUSINESS - None

NEW BUSINESS - Chet reported that the February Reunion will be held in Bonita Springs, Florida this year. During Chet’s absence from January thru April, First Vice President Adrian Lincoln will be Acting President.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 9^th, 2007 at Roman Hall

There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded and carried to close the meeting; meeting adjourned at 1:05 pm.
