MINUTES OF MEETING

The January meeting of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Retirees Association, Inc., was held on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at Roman Hall. After establishing a quorum was present, the meeting was called to order at 12:05 pm by First Vice President Adrian Lincoln, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The following were in attendance:

The following were unable to attend: Joe Bodnar, Dot Andres, Don Hutchinson, Phil Vecere, Dolores Murphy, Chet Andres and Al Gallo

The Minutes of December’s meeting were received and approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

The report was received and accepted pending audit.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT:

No new members to report.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Nominating Committee - No Report

By- Laws - No Change

Website - Bruce reported that there were 66 hits made last month for a total of 5,762 hits from day one. He received our annual bill for the website ($170.40) and gave it to our Treasurer for payment.

Memorial - Dick Hobson reported a profit of $6,500 on the December Silent Auctions. The next meeting of the Memorial Committee will be held on January 25^th in Conference Rm. 6A.

SOCIALS:

Luncheons - Jim Springstead is making arrangements for our Spring Luncheon. He will report on the date, place, etc. at our next meeting.

Trips - Jay Johnston reported on the trips being planned for this year. In the spring, he is planning a bus trip to Lancaster. He is also planning a bus trip to Radio City Music Hall to see their Annual Christmas Show. He is working with Jim Springstead on these trips and they will report further on the details.

OLD BUSINESS: - None

NEW BUSINESS: - A motion was made, seconded and carried to have Peter Gorman perform our Annual Audit again this year.

The next meeting will be held on February 6, 2007 at Roman Hall.

There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded and carried to close the meeting; meeting adjourned at 12:25 pm.
