MINUTES OF MEETING

The February meeting of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Retirees Association, Inc., was held on Tuesday, February 6^th 2007 at Roman Hall. After establishing a quorum was present, the meeting was called to order at 12:05 pm by First Vice President Adrian Lincoln, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The following were unable to attend: Dot Andres, Chet Andres, Don Hutchinson, Al Gallo, Sal Noto and Richard Hobson.

The report was received and accepted pending audit.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT:

No new members to report.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Nominating Committee - No Report

By- Laws - No Change

Website - Bruce reported that there were 52 hits made last month for a total of 5,814 hits from day one.

SOCIALS:

Luncheons - All present thanked Jim Springstead for stepping in at the last minute to make the arrangements for our Annual Spring Luncheon.

Adrian Lincoln will be handling the Annual June Luncheon. Since no one had another idea on where to have it held, he will make arrangements to have it at the Mercer Oaks Country Club.

Trips - Jay Johnston and Jim Springstead still working on the plans for the bus trips to Lancaster and Radio City Music Hall.

Picnic - Phil Vecere reported that he is already in the process of making plans for our Annual Picnic. He is looking to September 12^th, and if that date is not available, it will probably be held on September 19th.

OLD BUSINESS: - None

NEW BUSINESS: - Jim Dixon reported that after mailing out the DOTLines he had approximately 100 left over. Lou Papp will count the number of mailing labels to get an accurate count of the number of DOTRA members.

The next meeting will be held on March 6, 2007 at Roman Hall, beginning at 11:00 am.

There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded and carried to close the meeting; meeting adjourned at 12:25 pm.
