MINUTES OF MEETING
The meeting of the New Jersey Department of
Transportation Retirees Association, Inc., was held on Tuesday, October
2nd, 2007 at Leonardo’s. After establishing a quorum was present, the
meeting was called to order at 12:02 pm by President Chet Andres, followed by the
Pledge of Allegiance.

Nominating Committee - No Report
Website - Bruce reported a total of 6,235 hits, with 64 hits last month.
Memorial - Jim reported that the Jack Freidenrich Proposal is still at DOT being
written up. It will be a while before it
is finalized.
SOCIALS:
Trips - Jay reported that he has three tickets left for the
Picnic - The President thanked Phil Vecere and crew for doing a great job at
the picnic. Approximately 140 people
were in attendance.
Luncheons - The December 5th Christmas Luncheon is all set. Chet said we will have the same caterer as last year. The price per person is $30.00. A motion was made, seconded and carried to
subsidize the Luncheon in the amount of $2.00, making the price per person at
$28.00.
OLD BUSINESS - None
NEW BUSINESS:
Chet would like to
see a few more social activities. He
wants everyone to come up with suggestions before our next meeting.
Chet requested Art
Egan to look over the By-Laws for suggested changes and forward them to him
before our next meeting.
The next meeting will
be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Leonardo’s II beginning at 11:30 am.
There being no further
business, a motion was made, seconded and carried to close the meeting; meeting
adjourned at 1:10 pm
